Fat Quarter Shop Giveaway by P.S. I Quilt...

A few days ago Rachel at P.S. I Quilt had a post asking what would you buy at the Fat Quarter Shop if you had a $50 gift certificate. There were 163 posts of what would be bought at FQS. Today Rachel has a new post for a chance to win a FQS gift certificate. Evidently the Fat Quarter Shop heard about Rachel's post from the other day and they are donating a gift certificate. That's awesome. To get one entry Rachel had us post a message on her blog telling what color combinations we like to use in quilts. We get a second entry if we post this contest on our blog, a third entry if we become a follower of her blog. So go check out Rachel's blog and post a message, you could be a winner.

Pincushion Update: I must announce that almost half of the swappers did NOT send out swaps. I am in the process of Angeling out so that nobody gets left out. Please watch your mail and let me know when you recieve.

Pincushion Swap Ends

Hi to everyone who was in the pincushion swap. I know of a few who actually received happy mail! I am hearing from some who have not..... The swap postmark date was July 18th. Bunches to Blog About....

I have not posted and so much to tell you .. first I want to show you what came in the mail from the F R E I N D S swap I was in... Cailtlin Thank you so much!

I just realized looking at the pic that the book she sent me is missing. There were lots of goodies, some homespun fabrics, embelishments, cute handmade gauze bag, notecards and tablet, a vintage crafted notebook and the book missing is soldered trinket jewelry. A friend of mine has all the tools and we have talked about getting together and she will show me how to do it.

Carol's Crafty Creations had a giveaway.. I won this cute pincushion along with a generous sample of her new favorite filling. Crushed walnut shells. Thank you Carol! I think I will be using these from now on. You can get a bag a Petsmart. Probably at your local feed stores also.

The Pincushion swap deadline was July 18th... there a few I have not heard from. Please email if you haven't sent out. I will be posting all the pincushion picture in one post this week. I have seen some really creative work out there. Everyone did a great job so far.

The weekend has come to an end... I hope you had fun! I a variety of things and am happy how it turned out. I was blogging and found this site for you pincushion lovers... 46 pincushions.
