100th Post .. 2 posts late....

Would you expect anything less.. LOL I just realized it's my 102nd post. I should give you a little history... It all started with this.

June 2008... Miss Geranium. Yes, Miss Sharon, it's all her fault. I was one of the no blog club and just read everyone elses'... now and again I would comment. I decided to join her cupcake swap because it sounded so much fun. Sharon asked about my blog... well, I didn't have one. Of course you must know what came next... yes, she said you can do it and the rest is history. I don't write in it daily and sometimes not even weekly. But, I am trying to turn a new leaf as they say. I plan to update you as much as I can on whatever I am doing.. I hope you will follow along.

So. . . as my DH would say... "With that said"... Let's have a giveaway. Since I just realized I passed my 100th post and this wasn't planned I don't have anything together yet.. I will put something together and post a pic on Monday with the name of the winner. Just leave a message on this post about how you got started blogging.

Have a great weekend!

Keep Smiling!

Kim :)

Wow congrats on 102 posts :) My first blog was a disaster... I blogged twice then forgot what the name of it was or even how to access it!! My main blog came about when I joined Kaszazz - blogging is such an awesome way to keep in contact with everyone, as well as find new customers and contacts. My latest blog I started so I could separate the papercrafts from the fabric crafts (it was getting crazy having them both in the same place!) and its gone from there... I love being a blogger, and I love reading all the wonderful blogs out there!! xx

Congrats. I started quilting because one day I was surfing the web and found one of my quilting bloggers Then I went crazy and trying this and that till now I follow many quilters and I blog just a little. I have been in a few swaps and have enjoyed many of them. But most of all I have learned so much form ready your post and it has been more educatioal then what I have learned from what I have learned here. Mostly becasue I can be on the web more them I can go to the stores. I have to say who ever started this was smart I thank all my quilt bloggers for teaching me so much.

Congratulations! I started blogging when I discovered a blog in Google, Covered Porches and Wooden Screen Doors. She had been working on the Primitive Garden quilt from Primitive Gatherings, and that came up in the Google search. I started reading, connecting onto others in her side bar... and I knew I was hooked! Had to try it myself. And I have to say, I am a better quilter for it! Would love to be entered in your giveaway :o)

Happy blogiversary! When I heard from Miss Fig Tree that she had started a blog I went and checked it out. That started everything. I then found Miss Bunny Hill, Miss Sharon & Sherri's too. My husband had some health issues & I decided to quit attending my quilt guild meetings (I had been very active) & blogging became the venue for being with other quilters and I love it!

Happy 100 post + 2. I started blogging the same way you did. I read a lot and then decided I wanted to join Jane's rainbow swap. I did not need a blog to join but it was a great incentive to start. I am almost to my 100th post.

Congrats and I hope you have 102 more posts. I started blogging to keep friends/family informed, but none of them have a blog. I think it's a great way to keep a diary.
